Thank you very much for supporting our adventure to Bonaire for diving. … My son, lost his father in 2002 and to be able to learn something and experience something that his father had a passion for and would have wanted to do with his son, is unmeasurable. My son is already talking about being able to learn more and become a more advanced diver. As the mother, watching my son bond and interact with other Gold Star Kids, fills my heart. Again, thank you for your generosity
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and generosity has honestly been not only a healing experience for my children but also life changing. One daughter overcame her fear of the ocean to become open water certified (and wants to become advanced) and the other daughter wants to turn her love of science and scuba into a career in marine biology – thank you!
Thank you so much for helping to make this adventure possible! I know all of us had an absolutely amazing time. This means so much to us because it lets us hang out with other kids who understand and have gone through the same things and “get it”. So I just wanted to say thank you for this opportunity and let you know how much it means to all of us!
Thank you so much for sponsoring our adventure. You have helped a lot of kids learn vital tactics and life skills. We have all done more in one week than most do in a lifetime
I wish to express my deepest appreciation to you and Gold Star Teen Adventures for an amazing experience in the Florida Keys for Open Water Scuba. Thanks to everyone who supports your programs. (My son) and I were able to challenge ourselves with new activities and create wonderful memories. My favorite part, was watching (my son). Even though he was one of the younger children, the environment you created offered him the opportunity to be “one of the guys” …I think (my son) especially enjoyed the presence of the mentors. It was obvious to me that they cared about the kids. One night after (he) returned from an ultimate frisbee session he hugged me and said “I love you Mom”. That told me that he was thoroughly enjoying himself. Now that we’re home I smile every time I hear him excitedly recall an experience from his trip. Thank you for those smiles
